Recent News
Two days ago I talked on the phone with Julian Lynch (aka Lese Majesty aka buffalobuffalobuffalo...) about what we were going to put out together. We decided on one of his recent records Born 2 Run. If you haven't heard it yet, it's staggering and amazing, I can't seem to figure out how he makes the sounds that he does. The tape should be out within two weeks. If you can't wait that long you can buy a CD version from him on his myspace.

I have been e-mailing back and forth with San Francisco's 60 Watt Kid about releasing their second full length album on tape. The CD comes out in March, and judging by the press the received from their first record (4 out of 5 stars German Rolling Stone, 6.9 Pitchfork rating) their new record should be a dandy. I can't believe they're letting me put out their tape! Unfortunately due to legal issues with their record label the tape version won't be coming out until at least May, so check back then cause 60 Watt Kid are the real deal.

For those of you that don't already know Real Estate are off to play at SXSW, have a glowing Stereo Gum and Pitchfork review, and, whew, they have a new "7 record out on our friend's label Underwater Peoples. You can buy it from their website.

Speaking of Real Estate, I will be putting out a revamped version of Real Estate guitar player/singer Martin Courtney's Black Hole Of Fun EP in the upcoming month. Check back for that.

Also I (Dana Jewell) am going on tour down the west coast, so check this for tour dates if you live in WA, OR or CA.
